Still my favourite game. In my eyes, no other game is better balanced or has so many different ways to win it (and is played in less than 90 minutes). I still love it, even after some hundreds game played - good with 2-4 persons. If unexpereinced players get taught the rules, thy have no problems playing it after two games because it's quite intuitive to play.

Great game! Really a must have for "hardcore" players and for those who are tired of classical board games! Many options, lots of thinking and planning ahead, not so thrilling artwork (but once you "get into" the game doesn't even matter). Nearly reaches the perfect 10!

For the serious strategic gamer, this game is a must have! Even though it seems complicated, once you learn the basic flow, it's not a tough game but MANY various avenues to victory exist, so one strategy may not work the next time you play! BRILLIANT GAME.

This is the only game I rank 10 on a scale 0 (bad) to 10 (excellent). It is strategic, it is equally fun to play it with two, three, four or five players.
This game won so many board game prizes that it definitely should be in the 101 games book, on page one!!!

Classic Eurogame. The luck factor in Puerto Rico is very low. This is a fantastic game. If you've played Eurogames before and never tried PR, give it a try. If you haven't played Eurogames before, try Settlers of Catan, Carcassonne or Ticket to Ride first. Puerto Rico is a deep and engaging game, but not typically a gateway into Eurogames. It can work as a second or third game though.
